Kerala Cultural Association – Cardiff (KCA) is a non-profit, non-religious and non-political , cultural organisation working towards the improvement of the social lifestyle of Keralites (Malayalees) residing in United Kingdom, especially in Wales.

Based in Cardiff, this organisation will work with the Keralite community in Wales and strive to play a part in promoting the Kerala heritage and traditions in this foreign soil. This association will aim to host and celebrate traditional festivities of Kerala and organise family get-togethers, cultural and sporting events.

KCA aspires to provide a venue for social and personal growth through family kinship, non-partisan fellowship and the enrichment of common ethnic values. It aims to enhance the collective identity of Kerala lineage in South Wales, while strengthening their commitment to the country of domicile, the United Kingdom.

OBJECTIVES OF THE ASSOCIATION

  • To promote KCA which can unite all the Malayalee in Cardiff and nearby areas and group them on the same platform under the name of KCA and strengthen their bonds.
  • To foster friendship and understanding among its members
  • To provide opportunity for literary and entertainment activities.
  • To provide opportunity for members- men, women and children to participate and take leadership in all activities of the association.
  • To co-operate with other organisations in programs of common interests.
  • Celebrate major festivals of Kerala.
  • Providing occasions for socialisation among its members.
  • Preserving and transmitting Kerala cultural heritage.
